Everyone will learn how AI recognises shapes and images (datasets) and learns from them! This will be followed (William Patten Only) by an intro to fencing in the afternoon. EN GARDE!
Tuesday - Fossilisation
The juniors will make their very own fossilised dinosaur eggs, which can be opened on Easter Sunday to reveal a special (and sustainable) surprise! The seniors will be launched into a fossil hunt - using their chemistry knowledge to choose the right spot.
The AI theme from Tuesday follows recognition, everyone will explore generative AI, then we'll move on to some thrilling fencing (William Patten Only)!
Wednesday - Fun Finance!
The juniors will learn about Spring Holiday goods and services (with a fun project to take home) while the seniors will shop like its 1955! They will be thrown back in time to learn about shillings, crowns, pence and farthings (yes, pre-decimalisation Britain!)
In a multiple choice game, everyone will work together to explore AI ethics and the some exciting fencing (William Patten Only)!
Thursday - STEAM
The juniors and the seniors will create GEODES EGGS to take home, the stunning and creative project is back!
Looking at another side of AI, the young scientists will learn about AI and the environment and next up, we’ll dive into our final fencing session (William Patten Only)!
Friday - Party Day!
The juniors will create EGG CATAPULTS, learning the difference between kinetic and potential energy. The seniors will learn about Newtons three laws of motions (with eggs, of course!)
